Thomas Laigle is a sound and visual artist. His research explores the interactions between natural phenomena, technology and living beings. In contrast to the increasing immateriality of today’s world, he offers sensory experiences in a low-tech approach through a variety of media. In his artistic practice, light and sound are often interconnected to the point of forming a single entity. As part of his Art/Science creations, Thomas collaborates with renowned specialists in entomology, microbiology and oceanology, enriching his works with a scientific expertise. Since 2023, he has been co-organizing Soft Incident in Berlin, a series of performances focusing on body and sound practices.
